Charles CurtisGeneral Manager

Charles has been a leader in personal and. organizational fitness, Health and wellness since 1985. Charles is responsible for business development, major account issues, team support, new program and company directions as well as co-authoring the 12 Weeks trilogy of workbooks.
Charles has brought his passion for health, wellness, personal change and high service standards through many facets of business and the community and has redefined the new age of personal and workplace health, change and wellness. Charles' credentials include:
Owner of Curtis Personalized Health Management Ltd, a premier personal fitness, health and organizational wellness consulting firm.
Charles also was actively involved in developing 4 active rehabilitation clinics.
Local, national and international Summer and Winter Disabled Games experience as a cross country ski, track and swimming guide for the BC and the Canadian disabled team (visually impaired).
He continues to personal train select clients and has worked with some of the worlds' best known entertainers such as Aersomith, Motley Crue, Matthew MacConnaughey, Richard Dreyfus, and many more.
Charles' creative work, service standards and passionate team has placed 12 Weeks to Wellness as a leader in personal change and Wellness Management.

Emma Carpenter

Emma CarpenterHealth & Wellness Strategist

Emma is a Health and Wellness professional with over 10 years of experience in the area of workplace health and wellness.  Emma has worked with many private sector and public organizations in Canada and Sweden helping them design custom wellness solutions that identify their employee's needs. In this role, Emma assists organizations by guiding them through critical steps in the process of building supportive workplaces, helping establish their health vision and goals, work with health ambassadors and workplace health committees, designing and setting up workplace health programs, establishing measures and charting progress.

Emma moved to Canada in 2005 and joined Homewood Health (previously Wilson Banwell Human Solutions) as their first Wellness Consultant.  At Homewood Emma eventually took on the role as Manager of health promotion services where she was responsible for quality assurance and profitability of Homewood’s growing Organisational Wellness products and services through managing day to day departmental operations and supervision of assigned staff. Before that she was the Project Manager for a national Health Certification service leading 30 health coaches across Sweden.

Emma graduated from the University of Gävle, Sweden in Health Education and Health Promotion with a specialization in health behaviour change.

Bettina Mackenbach, RD

BettinaRegistered Dietitian, Certified Health & Wellness Coach

Bettina is a Registered Dietitian, as well as a Certified Health & Wellness Coach with over 15 years of experience. She is passionate about working with children, adults and seniors.

As a dietitian, Bettina uses a client-centered and evidence-based approach, holding the client accountable to the action steps they commit to after each coaching session, as well as providing the client with valuable nutrition resources. Bettina’s empathetic and encouraging style focuses on the individual and their particular life situation, making the relationship with each client her priority.

As a coach, Bettina works from the premise that the client has the answers and serves to facilitate the process of self-discovery by asking the client empowering questions, focusing on the client’s core strengths and values, as well as breaking up big goals into achievable action steps to help the client gain confidence. Bettina works with her clients on self-talk and self-compassion, tools that help support the client in pursuing a happier, healthier, and more balanced life.

Sherry Matheson has coached hundreds of individuals on health and wellness.  Sherry is very passionate about coaching others who seek to live a healthy lifestyle from their strengths and to understand what gets in the way.  She also provides motivational support with enthusiasm and education based on research along with her own personal experiences.  She assists clients in developing and implementing personal wellness plans in order to achieve long lasting and fulfilling results.
